We've Settled Down... (almost ^^)

It's been slightly over a month since we moved to our new home, & I can finally say that we've settled down...more or less ^^

Below are some pictures of our new place, for those of you who're curious :D

This is the living room... I like it cus its bright, airy & definitely spacious! The furnitures are not quite complete, partly cus I've not found the right pieces, & also we need to "space out" the buying... (if u know what I mean *wink*)

Well, the good thing is, we can have this place in it's relatively spacious condition for a longer period of time. Hopefully, it can remain clean, bright & uncluttered in the future, hehe...
The living room from the front door's view. Still looked kinda cold, & not quite a "home" yet. I knew that I can try to make it look homey, comfortable & all... but at the end of the day, what makes a home is the family, & the relationship fostered within that will add warmth to it.

That'll be the REAL work ^^  & I must say I'm looking forward to it though lots of care & prayer definitely need to be sprinkled on it for it to blossom beautifully.

I've got a new maid to help out with the household chores, & waiting for kids to start school in January. Now, I need to seriously "tune my mind" to putting my best foot forward for the family, & my "work". 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2)
This is the balcony area, which we've "converted" to my study/work area, by opening leveling the floor to the same height as the living area, & changing the tiles to match those inside as well. We also removed the sliding door, & replaced it with a frame instead.
The space is still quite "cluttered" in a tidy way, hehehe... I'm still trying to decide if it's worth spending the money to have a custom built low cabinet to fill in those gap under the window to maximize storage space.

I love coming up with new Organizer Purses, bags etc...but gotta admit, I'm really not great at organizing my work space & area. It may come as a simple thing to many people, but puts me at a complete loss as to what to do about it, & where to start etc.

I've been putting off "serious work" for the past 1 month on the pretext that I'll get moving once things are tidied & organized again. But, I really shouldn't procrastinate much longer as my income is at stake! :D
Natalie posing with some newly made handbags shouting "bags for sale!!!!" around the house, hehe... maybe she'll make a good sales person ^^

Hopefully I'll remember to post some new pictures, should the day come when my table & work area is neat, tidy & more "becoming" ... till then, & wish me the best please! ;)

  2. haha...thank you! You r right, the work area, was actually a small balcony, which we converted to my work area.

hm...my lack of organizing skill actually made it worse *grin*

hopefully, I can order a custom built space saver shelves, L-shaped table & low cabinets in abt 2 months time. I'll put up picture here again, once it's neat & tidy, hehe... (hopefully) ^^
