E-Reader Case for SONY PRS-505

Exterior measurement of the finished case: 18.5 x 15 x 2.5 (cm)
OR: 7.25 x 6.0 x 1.0 (inches)

The exact measurement of the SONY PRS-505 E-Reader is: 18 X 13.4 X 1.7 (cm), so this case was made with extra allowance to fit an item measuring: 20 x 15 x 2 (cm)

Fully padded all around the body except the sides, this case closes with a magnetic button & completes with a "hand-carry" handle on top for convenience.

Another NEW design is "birth-ed" through a customer's need... & I'm proud to announce this latest addition into our unique & functional pouch/purse design for custom orders.

Credit goes to a customer of mine (Cindy) who just bought a SONY PRS-505 E-Reader. She wants a case made to protect her new "toy" ;)

I don't own one, so I googled it to find out how it looks like & confirm the measurements from her. She was the one who suggested that she wants the exterior to be made like our Mini Accordian Purse, but without the accordian pockets. Just one main section specifically for the e-reader itself. She also specified that she wants a slip in pocket at the back of the case, just like the one in our Camera Case.

With those specifications in mind, it's really easy to work on, as it's not really a "new" design, but "fusing" 2 present designs, with some changes along the way. Now, isn't that what custom order is all about? You can mix, match, change... to your heart's content, or specific functional needs! ;)

Cindy has since received her new E-Reader case, is happy that it fits & I'm sure, proud to have a stylish case to carry her E-Reader around.

Need one specifically made to protect your gadget/toy? Feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities... I'd love to hear from you! ^^

Lower Seletar Reservoir

These pictures were taken at Lower Seletar Reservoir (near Khatib MRT), which is literally across the road from our present temporary place (Orchid Park Condo). It was a leisurely 5 mins walk away, & also our 1st time there. Imagine, we've been staying at Yishun for the past few years & never once came here! hehe...
All of us were relaxed after a short aftn nap this Sunday afternoon. It was around 6:30pm... so it was still pretty bright, but not hot anymore. The perfect time for a stroll with the family!
The park is small compared to the other reservoirs I've been to in Singapore. Namely Upper Pierce, & MacRitchie.
There were several people fishing along the banks & on the jetty. We also spotted a couple having some snacks & enjoying red wine while sitting on the rocks. Fortunately I remembered to bring some snacks for the kids, ;)

All of a sudden, I wish we had packed McDonald's burgers, nuggets & french fries! lol... it'll be so nice to enjoy those "snacks" sitting on the wooden planks of the jetty, enjoying the peace & quiet of our surrounding, yet just a stone's throw away from "home".

Natalie enjoying her Swiss Roll, chewing it happily (not making faces) ^^

Hans don't like to have his pictures taken & always makes a big fuss if he catches me focusing the camera on him! hehe...

Natalie is the complete opposite, & will readily "cheeeeeeese" for you! :D

Myself & Hubby, on the eve of our 7th wedding anniversary *yay*

Strolling back home, we decided to have dinner at MacDonald's ;) thanks to the "inspiration" at the jetty ^^

We also reflected on how blessed we are, to be able to enjoy such leisurely walk on a Sunday evening, on a quiet yet spacious road that's clean & close to nature (in a busy & hectic Singapore).

Not worrying about our safety on the road (this coming from my husband who grew up in Indonesia) strolling with 2 young kids in tow.

Counting our blessings, on how God has been faithful to meet all our needs in the months leading to our sale/purchase of flat, & present transition period while awaiting the completion of our purchase.

During the trial, we don't understand why things didnt went as smoothly as we'd wanted it to be. But now that God has brought us through, we can look back & see how awesome & wonderful is His plan for us. He really knew our every needs, even better than ourselves! It couldn't have been arranged any better, had we have it our own way!

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." Lamentations 3:22-24

Decoy Lab... Tick Tock Tick...

In line with my "moving house" cum home decor theme, I'd like to feature Decoy Lab, where you'll find many cute clocks on display.

The above 3 are my top favourites. I'm imagining this: Counting Bunny for the kids' room, the Elephant for the work/study area... & the Forest Clock for the living room.

Which are your favourites?

We Have Moved!

Sept 12, the day that we've been "looking forward" to (the positive & negative) has finally arrived! Waited, dreaded (almost, yet with an "exciting" connotation to it) for the past 1 month...yet, it came & went in a zippy!

"Dreaded" cus it meant that we'll have to leave behind a familiar neighbourhood & friends we've made there.

"Waited" cus it meant that we're off to the next phase of our "moving out" hehe... yea. This "moving out" came in 2 phases. Since the transaction of the flat we bought is not completed yet (+1 month's renovation), we had no choice but to stay in a rented place for 2months.

"Looking forward" as it meant that we're closer to our actual move in date (to our purchased flat in Pasir Ris) ^^

I had imagined how the moving out on Sept 12 will be like... the movers coming...a friend coming to help...& finally I'll visit some neighbours to bid them farewell & pass them our new address.

However, it didn't really went that way. To cut the long story short, it still went pretty smoothly, but not quite as I'd envisioned in my mind ... & I didn't get a chance to visit my neighbours (not by choice).

Anyways, we're comfortably settled in now... with the kids & myself enjoying the facilities that comes with a condo stay (which we won't be able to afford yet otherwise ^o^). The owners of this apartment is a nice young Chinese couple who's busy working & comes home late everyday. So, me & the kids literally have the whole apartment to ourselves most of the time! ;)

That said & done, this is still not our real home, & I found that it's quite challenging for me to really find a "comfortable" time & place to do my "work".

I suppose this means that I'll be in "low gear" for the time being while on "extended" resort-stay mode!

Pretty Random Objects

I chanced upon this shop Pretty Random Objects by chance through another blog today, & fell in love with these cute yet simple vases.

All the more so since I'm moving into a new flat soon (in 2 months time). We're currently busy packing, as we have to move out by this Saturday, into a rented place. Busy, but at the same time, it's quite an exciting period as we start to look at magazines for interior decor & colour themes... furnitures etc for the new house. And, deciding what kind of budgets for those stuff as well.

I've always wanted to have potted plants, but never gotten round to doing it (buying, growing them). However, I'd really like to give it a serious try this time round. What more with cute vases like these... having potted plants in the house became even more irresistable now! :P
