We Have Moved!

Sept 12, the day that we've been "looking forward" to (the positive & negative) has finally arrived! Waited, dreaded (almost, yet with an "exciting" connotation to it) for the past 1 month...yet, it came & went in a zippy!

"Dreaded" cus it meant that we'll have to leave behind a familiar neighbourhood & friends we've made there.

"Waited" cus it meant that we're off to the next phase of our "moving out" hehe... yea. This "moving out" came in 2 phases. Since the transaction of the flat we bought is not completed yet (+1 month's renovation), we had no choice but to stay in a rented place for 2months.

"Looking forward" as it meant that we're closer to our actual move in date (to our purchased flat in Pasir Ris) ^^

I had imagined how the moving out on Sept 12 will be like... the movers coming...a friend coming to help...& finally I'll visit some neighbours to bid them farewell & pass them our new address.

However, it didn't really went that way. To cut the long story short, it still went pretty smoothly, but not quite as I'd envisioned in my mind ... & I didn't get a chance to visit my neighbours (not by choice).

Anyways, we're comfortably settled in now... with the kids & myself enjoying the facilities that comes with a condo stay (which we won't be able to afford yet otherwise ^o^). The owners of this apartment is a nice young Chinese couple who's busy working & comes home late everyday. So, me & the kids literally have the whole apartment to ourselves most of the time! ;)

That said & done, this is still not our real home, & I found that it's quite challenging for me to really find a "comfortable" time & place to do my "work". 

I suppose this means that I'll be in "low gear" for the time being while on "extended" resort-stay mode!
