Countdown to "House Moving" Part 2

Cant believe that it's a mere 2 weeks from now b4 we move to our new home! Really excited & looking forward to it ^^

We thank God for his faithfulness & provision during our 2 month's interim stay here in Orchid Park Condo. Nice landlord/lady, friendly new tenant as well... & we'll definitely miss the "resort-styled" facilities here (aka the swimming pools & beautifully landscaped garden). What else? Ah...the food! We love the malay stall nearby at Khatib central, & the nice cozy cafe just a stone's throw away at the Community Club.

Not sure if this is true, but we assumed that lots of units at condominiums are probably rented out to expats, thus the high number of expats we see around us. Mostly mainland Chinese, Indians, Koreans & Filipinos. So, it has a nice "international" feel to this community ;)

Now that renovation at our new place has also started, we've got to start looking for furniture actively too. Well, mainly dining table, chairs, bed frame for our room & sofa set. All along I've always wanted white wooden furniture for the bedroom, but starting to think twice now... as I'm not sure if it'll look too "feminine" for a master bedroom, hehe...

Another close favourite will be dark wood, but will it look too imposing? The bedroom is small :( *sigh*...choices!!!

Then there's the dining table. I've spotted one that I liked, which was on 40% discount the last time we saw, but not sure if it's still around by now, hehe... & I'm hoping we can get a long bench to go with it, instead of chairs ;) I like to imagine that this dining table will also be a place where I'll be doing my work while the kids sit around drawing or doing their homework.... having casual chats/fellowship with friends over for a meal or cookies & tea, cell group? prayer...? Mmmm, this table's got a high calling! lol...

Cant wait now! Keep us in prayer over this "moving" & wish us the best ;)
